While I've criticized him for a good 2/3 seasons. From his performances, him thinking he was a midfielder and him being enabled by coaches, but was proven right, that he should of been playing as a #9 all along. All bias aside, I like him a lot. He’s very skilled, he can play anywhere in the midfield, and he doesn’t shy away in big moments. I don’t watch a ton of Flamengo games, but the times I’ve seen him live he’s impressed me. He’s a big part of the reason they’ve been so good this year.

A lot of people have been laughing at Dorival for comparing him to Modric, but I don’t think it’s THAT crazy. He has the talent to be that good a few years from now. You never know how someone is going to adjust to a new league and a new culture in a different country, but I think he’s a great signing for Milan.
