The game was marketed to young girls in the late 80's, early 90's and look, the USWNT is far and away the best side on Earth...you bugging if you think this is acceptable for a nation of our size and wealth.
The world's catching up the USWNT too. Title IX put us ahead, but countries like Germany and Japan are starting to spend more on their women's soccer programs. And our coaches suck on the women's side too.
If you compare the hypothetical 2018 USMNT starting 11 to the squad that beat Ghana 2-1, it's hard to see where the Russia WC side will be better. Maybe at striker, wherever Pulisic starts, and centerback since John Brooks will be 4 years older. Hopefully Yedlin will be healthy too, but we're still gonna be bad.

So I'm looking at the CONCACAF Qualification group (haven't pulled it up in days), and I'm still 
at the fact that the USA still controls their own destiny. A trash qualification campaign and they play Panama next, if they win they go above them with one game left against T&T.

It's not acceptable I want the president and the coach gone. Still the players are capable. I kept hearing MLS is helping out players from South America and Central America. Well it should also be helping the Americans too... I'm not much of a fan of MLS even though I have a team... I think it has to do with the constant switching Arena is doing with the club. It doesn't make any sense.
