please no :shaq2:

Whats your beef with spurs bruv? EPL is far better league then slow motion serie A. Also he has a chance of playing in european competition regularly. Hes a player for the future so i dont think hes going to be in the starting squad right away.

their tendency to ruin players breh

i like spurs, they're a highly unstable kamikaze club but i've seen too many decent players turn into shells of their former selves

i know. but I just do.

Its so unique to any other place in America and its not ridiculously expensive to live here.
 @concise

yeah, it's true tho. the parts of MD that border DC and the district itself are subtly interesting.

i just get the feeling i'll get my fill of it soon. i already have, actually, then i like it again. and i know when i leave i'll miss it.

Isnt twellman spot on with usmt players tranfers? I think this will happen he was really impressive against us in the seattle friendly.

I doubt yedlin is going to be ruined we have a young great manager who im sure will stay mroe then a season its just we have impatient chairman who just wants to see results.

England has killed many US talents. It's not a place to move to early. Better off going to Italy, learning how to defend and move on from there.

Spurs are all about the flavor of the month despite having a strong infrastructure, so they never have sustained success.

oyoyoyo with the truth. Spurs is terrible for players and managers.

I honestly think Pool will finish top 3, but until they sign another striker (which they will, I just don't know who for sure) I can't without being a stan say they'll finish ahead of Arsenal right now

How can Origi be the worst signing when he won't play a single match for Pool this season? They loaned him back to Lille for the season. :mjlol:

:whew: the ignorant britishness of it all. and the made up details. I love these type of articles, mostly cause they are dying off so quickly

excerpts:

Americans aren’t falling in love with soccer of their own free will; they are falling in love with clever branding, thanks largely to a battle between sportswear giants Nike and adidas taking place in their own backyard.
Nike is almost obliged to manufacture the American national shirt but, for political reasons, it can no longer do the same for Mexico, which is where adidas has stepped in.
Years ago, touring America was not seen as particularly beneficial because the Major League Soccer teams were not up to par. But then Nike and adidas got involved and realised that they could embed an entire tour into the contracts of the manufacturing deals that they had with their flagship teams. The result is a selection of the most prestigious clubs in world football playing against each other in North America. And when Manchester United (Nike) met Real Madrid (adidas) in Michigan last Saturday, they played in front of 109,000 fans – a record for a soccer match in the US.
The Red Bulls have a collection of very good footballers. Thierry Henry is there, Tim Cahill and, of course, my friend. The Red Bulls are a team that I could certainly get on board with. So I asked my agent to explore the possibility and what he came back with was interesting, if not disappointing. A representative told him that the offer was $35,000 (£20,800) a year.
