Breh, it’s frustrating when you have some Arsenal fans who see Arteta as infallible. Arsenal don’t have a divine right to win every trophy. But it’s frustrating seeing the same issues over and over again regardless of who’s the manager.

Two times we could’ve won the league and the only reason we fell short was because of our own undoing. If it was a case of just being pipped to the post, most Arsenal fans would accept it.

But when you see Arsenal shoot themselves in the foot when the pressure gets too much, how are supposed to feel? Look at Liverpool this season. They’ve managed to dig deep even when playing poorly… that’s what champions do.

Arsenal continue to choke when there’s a clear path to victory. The same issues continue to get glossed over. And despite how poorly we’ve been playing, being 2nd is only due to Man City collapsing.
I've said it from day 1 Arteta is not the man
You can all go back and check the receipts

You will not win anything whilst he is in power

He has taken you as far as he can and if you want to take the next step forward he has to go

Yeah I know he won the Fa Cup but that was against Chelsea who was going through their 6 streak losing finals just like Klopp did

Told my Arsenal mandem to go for him while he was still in Spain but they pointed to his last season at La Real where he only scored 6 league goals.

I told them La Real wasn’t using him properly hence the poor goal output.

They called me a madman but here we are.

That is absolutely nonsense. He was still getting 2.3 shots a game 1.1 on target compared to 2.4 and 1.2 on target the season before that. That last season at Sociedad the shooting stats are equal to what they were to last season.

71 shots 33 on target 21/22
72 shots 36 on target 23/24

I'm backing Arteta all the way... but he needs the backing of the board which I believe he will get. He wouldn't have been crazy enough to leave the tutelage of Pep if he wasn't guranteed support from the board.

A top six finish would be overachieving considering where we are. It's going to be a long slow process to rebuild but I have faith in him.

I missed the game but I'm proud of Arteta and the lads. It's going to be a long season but we're in the rebuilding stages.

Give Arteta at least 2/3 transfer windows. He has to work with what he's got.
Sep 27 2020:
Yeah. We need to replace Xhaka or at least give him competition for his position.

Still think he has potential. But you’re right, our youth academy is producing the goods so far. Reiss’ time at Germany did him great. I’ve got faith in Arteta.
Dec 26 2020:
I said Arteta just needs time. He just needs a consistent XI and another two transfer windows. I wasn’t expecting him to work miracles.
Dec 26 2020:
The rot started long before Arteta. Let’s see where we finish at the end of the season. He’s had to inherit a disjointed team and politics from above. Give him a full season at least.

I mean 72m for Pepe still has me. :francis:
Dec 26 2020:
I’ll take long term stability over shaky instant gratification. Arteta is a long term replacement. Let him build something.
April 3rd 2021:
Arteta should be ashamed of himself. He has literally parked the bus at home, has made no tactical subs and is happy to settle for a draw.
April 4th 2022:
In the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t matter what I suggest. It seems most Arsenal fans are happy with mediocrity.

Stan will keep Arteta on because this club is not his main priority. He’ll keep the tickets sky high whilst we settle for Europa league at best.

In Arteta we trust though.

“There was an international break.”
“Palace were always going to be tough.”
“The grass was too high.”
“The weather was too cold.”
“Arteta didn’t have his green tea.”
“It wasn’t a full moon.”

Don’t worry guys, Arteta is building something special. This team is young. Don’t be unrealistic with expectations. We were playing away…. Blah blah blah. Usual horse shyt excuses to come as per usual from the deluded bunch.

Such an unserious team. Mutha fukk that lego hair head Basque b*stard and you “trust the process” ass nikkas.

I wasn’t even gonna bother posting on this forum again for other reasons but I’m so pissed off that I broke my own self imposed exile.

Crying for a number 9 but we still neglect that position. Absolute joke. I’m done with this team until Arteta is gone.

But I’m unreasonable though. :francis:

We could play Newcastle 10 more times in a row, we're not beating this team, especially without Saka.

This is just a bad match up for us
No you just have one of the worst front lines we have ever seen in the PL

And Arteta (your man you are standing by) decided to spend around 115 million to assemble it :mjlol:

That said Saka is the ONE though he is :salute:

I'm not even going to dap that post because I would not know which one to use, the thumps up, laughing emoji and if they have a crying one, that could even come into the equation

It has taken you a while and I understand you have to back the decision of the club but....

The last 6 months of your posting you are seeing what other fans have seen for a while now

His shooting stats in his last season at La Real were a slight shave off the prior season where he banged in 17 league goals.

Was he a tad less clinical his last season? Sure. But the talent was there for all who could see.

But Arsenal wanted Newcastle to develop him and well, he’s been developed lol
