My lot has made everyone else the failures previously, as has yours, along with a handful of others.

I’d suggest if you look at money spent, wages, and then relative finishing position, it would be fair to suggest that the team supported by your good self might be a bigger failure, but whatever.

I didn’t think we would win it this season - I said 3rd behind City & Liverpool. I would hope for a real run at the league again next year.

In regards to the dippers, I seem to remember Spurs being anointed as genuine challengers around this time last year, with Ange’s swashbuckling brand of football being lauded by nearly all.

Not suggesting that this Liverpool side will go the same way as that Tottenham one, but it’s been half a season of Slott in the PL, and one might presume that the transfer window heralds some movement out of Liverpool if contracts for Salah, VVD, and TAA are not renewed.

For supposed league title chasing side your style of play is horrific, you're a boring team who wins games with set pieces for the most part. You've literally went backwards from where you were 2 seasons ago.

Watching Liverpool play then watching you man play is honestly jarring, they play PROPER big club football, football that has them 7 points clear of you despite Slot only being in the job 4/5 months. It's a horrible reflection on your manager.

You can try and give it large over beating a United side 4 games into a project all you like. You were playing at home against a side in mid table, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE THE ONES FORCING THE ISSUE.

And even then you offered basically zero threat outside of corners until you scored, you had less possession in the first half against a team drained of confidence who don't even know how to play the managers system yet.
