Not just before ht, but legit the last kick of the game. At 15/20 secs before the end of the half, I’d just say close it out if I’m the gaffer.

Go in 1-0 knowing you had a few chances and are still in the game. The risk of a counter and 2-0 into the half outweighs the benefit

All France needs to do is force McGuire and Stones to be ones in charges of moving the ball and start the attack for England. Basically what Senegal did for 15 minutes before Henderson's goal. Those two are bound to fukk up a couple of times and Dembelé, Mbappe, Giroud and Griezmann will make them pay.

Now, I'm not sure Deschamps can coach his way to do that but if he can, it's gonna be an easy W for them.
