No to mention even more matches for the (invariably) elite players who will eventually win it.

I've always said this: the USA women have made the USA men's team the face of their 'gender pay gap' fight, and the men have absolutely nothing to do with this.

They constantly beat it over the men's heads that they won 4 world cups and the men ain't shyt and should get paid more, and use their on field success as the measuring stick against the men

No midfield. This would have been Kante's last WC and Pogba is a shadow of his former self. Touchameni is ok, but they have SO much attacking talent but no one to actually get the ball to them.

Chess not Checkers. Teams that see success for multiple years is because of strong midfields. Spain might be the best example of this. But Brazil, Italy, and Germany in the past and even Portugal now...the strength is in the middle of the park.

u need a well rounded team... U.S. has a good midfield but no finishers so they cannot score... at all.. France will always have a midfield that's good enough and they got a crazy amount of front line talent

If the US women don’t reinvest that money into women soccer academies and are instead pocketing that money they won’t be winning anymore world cups. Theyve been getting their ass beat recently and if they aren’t dominate their hoes the allure that makes them money in the first place.

Say what you want but CAF showed out well this tournament.

improvements from African teams and even Asian teams over the past 10-15 years been crazy. Much better technically, better decision making, and coaches better too so playing better tactically

And it's the depth of it too. African teams for example always had world class players but the broader squad would be pretty average. But now teams are stacked with very good players in all positions

Before lot of African teams would remind me of current Argentina. Player like Messi gets the ball, passes it some basic RB who can barely control it and the move breaks down. Now whole team is very good technically for CAF teams
