Argentina came out in a formation that somehow made Messi, Lautaro and Di Maria all ineffective.

Got Messi playing deep lying midfielder, Di Maria playing at times as a striker and even when they occasionally manage to beat someone down the wing they still have no one in the midfield and only Lautaro in the box.

Well all the time I see him play for Argentina he's below par by a large margin..it's not the scheme is not the team marking him outta the game..he gives the ball away more than usual,makes less runs etc....
