what Argentina have that France don’t have right now (Morocco has it) is that die on the pitch mentality. These players around Messi putting everything into the game to win. Then you have Messi who finds a moment to score/ create a goal.

Yeh France are better but over 90 minutes one off game the above can easily beat a team like france particularly when this france defence shaky

It took Messi five World Cups (well, four, 06' he was a kid) and 7 Copa América to finally step up and own his national squad to the point of leading them in clutch moments to make them advance. Even in 2014, he wasn't the main reason they were advancing. This tournament dude has played the best leadership and MVP role I've even seen him play. He's even got swagger now.

Mbappé and Griezmann could potentially crush this Argentinian team but it's not a lock they will step up to the ocassion on Sunday if they advance tomorrow. If they do though, Argentina has no chance of winning.

I dunno. I ain't betting against Argentina when Messi is playing like this.

World cups come down to moments I can see Messi moments before Mbappe moments.

But I wouldn't be surprised if France come out and spank Argentina either.

A lot of teams are emotionally fatigued, you get the impression France still have another level.
