Striker was their glaring weakness and Morata was useless in the last 3 games. But he can hold up the play and make the passes so the wingers can cook.

Spain have a system and play who fits in that system, not based on past reputation or club affiliation. England have always tried to shoe horn players in and never developed a proper rhythm to truly beat the good teams. Congrats to Spain and Rodri, the best footballer in the world.

Its because between Madrid, Barca, Bilbao, etc. they all learn how to play like SPAIN. Club ball is the secondary style. Before anything you're taught to be technically proficient and intelligent. Morata stands out because he's the only Spaniard that's consistently DUMB.
