I don’t understand how teams don’t realize nothing good happens playing conservatively with 1 goal lead

Teams like Slovakia don't have the depth to maintain the level they showed the first 35 minutes of the game. The plan is always to score as soon as possible and then hold. By minute 60' the team was dead tired, if they tried counters they would've probably made England's job much easier because they would've found spaces with Slov running behind the ball.

We are talking about Slovakia breh. This ain't EA's FIFA were players can run all 90 minutes even if they are in a mediocre squad. They were 1 out of nowhere bicycle kick from a throw in with 1 minute to go to qualify, you can't shyt on that
