Denmark had good ball movement and passing but their decision making in the final third has been very poor.

Too many long shots IMO, not enough cutting edge in the final third.
I didn’t think they could be any worse than the second half of the previous match…

Also, I think that’s the last we see of Trent

No matter who you put on that left side, they gotta play really well to get a final product. Foden had some good dribbles but no goal or assist, very easy for defenses to key in when there's no support from the full back or #10.

Y'all saw Eze there and he did nothing. Team is broken. Pickford can't pick out a good pass over 15 yards, trent is not a midfielder (ask Klopp why he stopped playing there, and no it's not because of the mighty Gravenberch), Jude is not a #10 and Rice doesn't (and had never consistently) made good forward passes. Walker can't cross and he was the best wide threat.

The blame will go on Southgate but the blame is on the culture within the FA that forces a Trent in the starring XI, forces a Jude in the #10 role, weaking the only creative player in the side. Big Sam was the only guy with balls to manage how he wanted and they made sure to get him out of there real quick. Can't have a manager picking players regardless of agent/club affiliation, would cost the leeches millions.
