I didn't realize how much Skip Bayless was the glue to that show but him and Stephen a were a great team together.

But over the past few years Stephen A increased the volume and showmanship of his debates and comments and it started to feel like pro wrestling promos watching him yell.

That's gotten so old...

But man I flip over to FS1 and Skip and Shannon Sharpe really have it going...

I havent looked at the numbers but i think First Take is on its last legs...

i feel like skip and sas had the perfect dynamic.. they was both trolling on opposite ends of the spectrum. now it's sas trying to play the same role, but max is all facts and stats and no craziness... same with undisputed.. skip isn't as over the top anymore, so his points somehow sound even dumber, with him trying to logically make them make sense.. meanwhile shannon is calm and spitting facts and stats


it should really be sas and skip vs max and shannon. BUT... for the record.. first take rating are just about the same as when skip was there and undisputed ratings are in the TRASH... doing 0.0 in some markets

Both shows are trash to me... the entire format is tired and cliche to me...They give off the vibe of being socially engineered by a bunch of suits looking at focus group analytics trying to decide what combination of sports topics, talking heads, and female eye candy "moderators" best appeals to the 20-42 year old unemployed male demographic ... as a matter of pride and principle, if I was Skip I would've refused to shamelessly do the McDonald's-McDowells "they got the golden arches...We got the golden arcs" routine by just outright copying First Take on fs1...

I watch undisputed a lot more these days Skip/Shannon have pretty good chemistry and that will can dude is trash I wish ESPN would stop his push.
