actually the opposite is happening, ratings are declining
deceiving.
the ratings dropped after the football season because tebo lost. skip was a central figure in tebo-mania and during his run they ate good off that. nba took a big hit this year because of the late start. everyone covering it has suffered until these later rounds of the playoffs.
overall though, the debate segments were the highest before the reformat, so they ran with it. they trend every morning. personally, i liked lomas & ray and their other segments instead of two hours of tebo & lebron, but the shyt overall is better for 'versy & ratings.

They need to give up on that Tim Tebow shyt for a while. You can have 4 NBA playoff games, a no-hitter and a tiger woods victory during a weekend and Monday Skip Bayless will try to sneak in a Tim Tebow debate. On some "Jets QB coach says Tebow has strong arm" type.

I liked the interview sessions they had too...
They always asked the athletes interesting questions. The problem was they only had 4 "downs" to do the Skip debates, which was the most popular portion of the show, so they had to get more of that.
They should not have completely phased out the interviews tho.
