again breh . Where the fukk did i say it wasn't the #1 show on ESPN?? They had a story about it not too long ago. There was a new producer who came in a couple of years ago. think his name is Jamie Horowitz or something. google that shyt. They did a research on what moves the needle. That is how ESPN's tebowmania was created. If if they really want to get shyt going, they'll throw race randomly in the discussion.

I forgot which episode it was but Stephen A said a cartoon about Cam Newton in a Carolina newspaper was race based when it wasn't, they had a gang of black analysts call racism too. Stephen A looked uncomfortable as fukk. Same shyt with Rob Parker : why do you think ESPN producers didn't try to stop him from saying that shyt when they knew beforehand what he was going to say??

Everything about that show is geared towards the unemployed and the uneducated

actually he's right... they made the change to black it up a little more. got rid of the white people except skip.. brought in two black people.. most of their celeb guests are rappers and black entertainers.. you might get a kevin james or something every once in a while.. got wale and stalley to do the intro.. the fade out and in to commercials is all hip hop now

first take is geared towards the casual sports fan. just like a lot of their other shows , such as PTI where you can tell that the hosts themselves are casual to a lot of topics.

the difference between first take & PTI is that first take has a way of catering to black folks and the urban/upbeat/hip crowd in general, like somebody just said. but that doesn't equate to being "unemployed & uneducated". lol. why isn't PTI called out for catering to the ignorant? because they have an old white man & a c00n hosting? I hate this board sometimes.

the problem that people have with your post is the fact that you seem to be grouping "black" with "uneducated and unemployed".

OTL isn't even in that genre. I never heard of "highly questionable" so no comment.

"numbers never lie" is way more informative but wouldn't you say that its halfway geared towards the first take crowd? not to mention that its the follow-up show.

what the hell is so informative about sportsnation?

"around the horn" does what it does, but i'll take SAS over the entire panel.

I'm working and educated and i just DVR it or listen to the Podcast after the show airs mostly because of SAS. Not sure why you are focused on this uneducated point. Your point about focusing on demos is correct, not sure why you need to generalize the people who watch it though. I'm sure part of that 18-34 Demo are college kids who might not have class at 10AM or 12PM when in re-airs. Not all those people that show up at their live shows at the Hard Rock or in NYC are uneducated, they were mostly college kids it seemed to me. I think people from all spectrums watch it like Regis who says he watches it everyday or Holly Robinson Peete who treets about it...
