Man that fukking Amazon traffic is just unfathomable. My goal by the end of this year is to be able to get 1,000 users per day yo my sites. My shyt usually has a strong 3-5% conversion rate with less than 100 visitors per day. Would be lovely as fukk to see my shyt go from 2-3 orders per day to 20-30. Just hate having all my eggs in Amazon’s basket, shyt feels like a bubble waiting to burst.

Yeah

And its definitely not. Biggest thing i’ve learned the past two 2-3 years is that people are gonna buy shyt.

Damn. :wow: :ohhh:

I'm still game planning now on what I want to do. I'll follow this thread closing and give updates. I'm starting from Scratch and don't know anything about E Commerce

Started up a Shopify store and had a few questions from those already established...
  1. Is running giveaways on SM still the fastest/most effective way to grow an email list?
  2. Getting product reviews on my store seems like a chicken/egg situation. You need sales to get reviews but few people will be willing to buy without reviews. Any advice on how to approach?
  3. Creating constant, high quality creatives (especially video content) is a huge time commitment. Does this make sense to outsource/hire freelancers?

Just get an app that lets you write fake reviews.. then when real reviews come in delete them

So for people doubting the possibilities of the e-commerce life.

Check out this dude that just launched a store about 6 weeks ago.

Let me add, that's not even a successful shop. I will drop links on who to watch and follow.

Drop questions and get this cracking

Damn how did I miss this thread??? I should come into this sub more often :bryan:

Been in the e-commerce game (custom clothing/wholesale apparel) for 8 years now, most of which was Etsy/Amazon US/Amazon Canada/now Walmart Canada as of last year. Walmart definitely is the worst to deal with from a UI so they are not a priority anymore. Most of my focus has been both Amazon marketplaces due to the reach.

Mainly did merchant fulfilled orders all this time but this year made a conscience effort to press/pack a set number of units each day from Sept 1 so that the Fulfillment Centres have time to receive and put into inventory in time for the holiday season. Sent out about 6 boxes today. Especially with World cup coming up and the fomo people will have to rock some gear, I needed to get on it now. Plus hoodies go out-of-stock real quick around this time.

It's crazy the percentage increase I have seen in the last 15ish days just by these items being Prime now. Tricky part is balancing with a FT job, but hopefully having all my top skus in FBA will give me some breathing space in Nov/Dec as sometimes I'm pressing apparel from 8pm to like 4am :dead:

Decided it was time to official do the Brand Registry so reached out to a law firm to get the ball rolling. One Firm I do work for now, is actually on there but I can't use them due to conflict of interest. Would have been real simple otherwise.

Anywho going to read through most of the thread. Looking forwawrd to bouncing tips and tricks with my fellow Coli brehs.
