go see it breh. its not not-stop action but action but the action that is in here is god tier shyt.

2 scenes in particular are just.. :wow:

plus as a photographer this will inspire you to step your shyt up even more with the cinematography and grading being immaculate.

I really enjoyed this! Great pacing, characters, use of historical culture and lore, and beautiful cinematography. That final shot:ohlawd:

My only complaint is the same thing I always complain about Eggers' films. I only understood half the dialogue. Really need closed captioning to appreciate everything with his movies. 9/10

The spoiler tag isn't working so I can't talk about what I want right now.:stopitslime:

I didn't know Eggers used the same cinematographer in all his movies, Jarin Blaschke.

"Blaschke first rose to prominence with his work on Robert Eggers' directorial debut The Witch.[3] His work received acclaim, in addition to several film critic association nominations, including the Seattle Film Critics Society Award for Best Cinematography.[4] He would reteam with Eggers for The Lighthouse, which was filmed in black and white negative.[5] In addition to his Academy Award nomination, Blaschke won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Cinematography,[6] and was nominated for the BAFTA and Critics' Choice Award.[7][8]"

This is a sign of a really good Director, keeping the same Cinematographer.
