lol, I ain't never think Laurel was hood. To me that's like the outer limits of the B-More side of Maryland. Plus all parts of MoCo aren't created equal.

Laurel is much closer to DC breh. I commute into the city, thank God for parking at my job at a very good price

I drive 12 miles on the BW Parkway to New York Ave, take South Dakota to Michigan Ave and take that to Columbia Road and then I work off 16th street.

I used to commute to Baltimore when I was finished my freshman year at UMD cause I got a summer job up there off Security Boulevard and that commute was a legit 45 minutes... 26 miles a day... when gas was $4 (Summer 2008). I got paid in cash weekly though.

My weekend job is in North Laurel and that place is where DC nigs and Baltimore nigs clash football season is hilarious there

One thing about Laurel though... EVERYONE who lives there claims to be from somewhere else. You got bammas talking about "I'm from DC" or "I'm from Bmore" or "I'm from Bladensburg" or "I'm from Capital Heights"... nikka sit yo ass down... I've known you since you was in middle school livin up in Laurel

my peoples used to live in district heights, shyt was kinda hood but there crib was nice, it was on the same road as a 7/11 and some takeout joint and a mcdonalds off pennsylvania ave.


i remember my uncle came and scooped me from the greyhound station in dc at like 3 in the morning and we stopped at the gas station on minnesota and pennsylvania so i could grab something to snack on from this bus ride from atlantic city... and 3 funny looking nikkas walked in with the face.... my uncle came in and grabbed me and sped the fukk off he said the gas station was about to get robbed

the barber shop in bladensburg used to have strippers.... they'll close the blinds and get busy....
