I know someone lost their life, but this shyt sounds like some shyt out of a comedy! The way its being reported seems like its a joke.

Sources say someone has been stabbed to death over a Popeye's chicken sandwich at the Popeye's in Oxon Hill. We are on our way to learn more:gucci::mjlol:

The fukked up part is the reporter knows damn well it wasn't over no damn sandwich, it was over disrespect, and two people who wouldn't back down from each other, but these reporters gotta sensationalize

Red line at silver spring.

Get off for work at waterfront. The ruffians on the green line are all south of the navy yard stop

Most of them yeah but real live tho, you’ll catch nikkas (and sometimes even migos) acting a damn fool in L’Enfant, Gallery, U Street, Columbia Heights, Georgia Ave, and Fort Totten too.

Red Line more “professional” but shyt be too crowded for my liking, some of the train cars are too old and a lil dingy, it’s always constant delays, and as the oldest Metro line, it shows its age from time to time. And last I checked, it’s no stranger to accidents either.

I’ll take my chances on the Green Line. Other than the constant fukkery from passengers, I’ve never had no problems on it.

Plus, culture-wise, it don’t get more PG and DC than the Green.

What would you guys consider my best options for this job/commute/housing situation?

I'm headed to DC from the west for a short term contract at MGUH and will be traveling in my car. I'll be working second shift. Everything is straight except parking which is only available to first and third shift. Not to mention dealing with the DC 2 hr limit on street parking in the morning.

How consistent is metro and other transit options? I've been looking for sublets due to my short term assignment and the surrounding Georgetown area options are bare.

housing depends on your budget but you’re gonna pay a grip especially in that area. Metro wise I would guess getting off at Foggy bottom then catch a bus from there would be the most consistent option. Georgetown is kinda ass in respect to the metro honestly. Does the hospital offer any ride share benefits(Uber/Lyft)?

DC isn’t huge so if you can figure out transit, you can pretty much live anywhere and not be THAT far from work. And working second shift, traffic would be as good as possible during your commute times.

My monthly housing per diem is in the $2000-2500 range. I don't want to use all of that on housing as that is a major part of my take home money since it is tax free but $1400-1600 is what I'm budgeting for housing with 1600 being a spot that takes care of all my preferences. The hospital told me about a free shuttle from Dupont circle and they also have a free Rosslyn metro shuttle.

Rossyln actually makes a lot of sense. Just cross the bridge and you can probably live there or Arlington and save a little bit of money. $1600 can prolly snag you a bigger 1br apt in an older building or a studio somewhere in the rossyln or other parts of Arlington

I despise DST with a passion. 5:45 pm and it's already dark.

I'm thinking of a lowkey bar/restaurant to go to...any recommendations? Preferably in PG county
