What y’all know bout Capt Billy’s?If you feel like making the 1 1/2 hour drive, hit up Capt. Billy’s in Newburg down in Charles County. It’s far asf I know, but it’s worth it breh
You can eat on the water too if you’d like.
My grandfather used to sell crabs to the og capt billy. I grew up in VA on the other side of the Potomac, across that narrow bridge. We would go to Capt Billy’s or Capt John’s down Solomon Island on special occasions.

Just hit up the Southwest Waterfront area for the first time since pre-gentrification (don’t think I’ve been since the late ‘00s/early 10’s) today. I can’t lie, that entire area looks nice as hell. They had Jazz Fest going on and everybody was out and about and it’s a WHOLE bunch of new food and watering hole spots. The weather was bomb even though it did get a lil humid for a bit and I couldn’t believe that the fish actually came back in the DC side of the Potomac 
Saw striped bass and smaller fish (looked like perch or something) chowing down on some tossed bread. They’ve really cleaned that river up over the last several years. I’m happy as hell that the The Wharf itself is still there and looks like it barely changed at all and still got that funky seafood/blue collar smell to this day too that I’ve associate it with 
Me and my family were in the area for Father’s Day. We went out to this nice ass French/Mediterranean restaurant called La Vie. Food was pretty good overall despite the long waits. They even had a whole swimming pool on top of the damn restaurant lol

Didn't but I head it was good. A lot of day parties and events went on this weekend.
Waterfront is definitely the wave. Was there a while back for some drinks. Very cool spot for a relaxed weekend.

I’m hoping the College Park location don’t got this problem since I ate there last fall. They didn’t seem like they were on any type of BS tho and our food was bomb so they should be Gucci. I really hate it when I see shyt like this at a Black-owned restaurant.

Are the Blue and Yellow lines still open? I heard one of those lines out VA was having some track work done. I’ll be working around Pentagon City soon and will be commuting back home to Branch Ave Metro.

It was incredible to see the transformation of that neighborhood on M Street. I lived there for the past 10 years. My neighbor next door was this sweet old lady.
She used to tell me how Rayful tried to holla at her back in the day when he came around
She said it was a wrap once breh started pulling up with some PAWGs. Next thing you know a week or 2 later the feds swarmed the entire bloc
