I think I got a DC speeding ticket 
The camera on Branch Ave SE near Southern Ave caught me slippin when I was tryna slow down after crankin to some TLC. I was doing 40 on a 25 
All because I wanted to take my college best friend back home to Hyattsville and the GPS decided to take me thru the city as a “shortcut”.
Damned city might as well just ban cars at this point

Also, was there some kinda major accident on the Southeast-Southwest Freeway ramp outside Bolling Air Force Base yesterday?
Me and several other cars had to floor it in reverse to take a different direction because EMS and MPD vehicles and a tow truck were blocking the ramp.

Hey I plan on visiting D.C in May. My second time there I attended the grand opening of the Afro American History museum but didn't stick around for long. Any restuarant, lounges, neighborhoods, stores that anyone can recommend that I check out? Thanks in advance.

Neighborhoods I enjoy exploring:
Adams Morgan, Shaw, U Street, Georgetown, CityCenterDC, Gallery Place/Chinatown, Columbia Heights, the Logan Circle/14th Street area, Georgia Ave, Capitol Hill (especially the part by Eastern Market and Barracks Row), The Wharf area in Southwest DC, etc.
Lounges:
Penn Social in Downtown is really nice IMO. No entry fee either. The dance lounge is down the basement.
I also enjoyed going to Queen Hookah Lounge in Adams Morgan. It can get a lil ratchet (like much of Adams Morgan) but nothing too crazy.

You did 40 in a 25. I’d expect at least $100. It doubles if you don’t pay it off in like 3 weeks.
