What about Route 1-Jefferson Davis Highway? :mjpls:
:scust:Lee highway
Didn’t know that either till I decided to take the subway from Silver Spring to Georgetown or something like that.

After hearing then price and the fact that the train was coming every 25 minutes (construction), I ran back to my hotel and got my car.
there's no metro in Georgetown but I feel you
The metro is hit or miss

You might be right cause my homegirl said I would have to take a bus and I’m pretty sure the guy said there aren’t free transfers to the bus like NYC.

That did it for me. Back to the car I went.
there is no metro in Georgetown. the nearest one is Foggy Bottom

Interested in the area. What are some walkable suburbs with good schools? Besides Arlington, Alexandria, and Silver Spring. Those r my choices but they r expensive
Arlington is pricey but its solid.

Depends on what you are looking for....you can't ask for "good" anything in DC ad want it cheap.

Naija / DMV
Was at the Nigerian Independence Day weekend bar crawl on U-Street last night :ehh:

It's been known but DMV got some nice looking sisters :ehh:

I will still say, the vibe in DC can seem a bit too "buttoned" up at times, even in social settings. Or maybe it's me, I tend to be more lowkey when I actually live in an area

Yeah it can seem that way at times, especially depending on where in DC you’re social setting’s at. When I was up in Philly at this dive-ish spot on South Street (this restaurant had a shyt ton of graffiti), didn’t see much buttoned up settings.

idk about good schools but there's Bethesda, Hyasttville, Takoma Park

PG County seems very much car oriented tho

arlington is walkable
Used to live over on Flintridge Drive (Hyattsville), had some schools around there, grocery stores and what not, you're going to wanna have a car unless you're right across from a plaza or something.... I've heard things have come along a bit down there.
