America is definitely segregated but for as “diverse” as DC is always advertised to be, people in DC definitely hang with their own for the most part. Not just in the neighborhoods they live in, but socially too.

I prefer not to have a whole population of folks in the city that seem to not be fans of people that look like me. Especially when the most desirable DC neighborhoods that used to be majority black are getting gentrified by more of said folks every year. But maybe you’re into that?
