are you from dallas or just visiting? dallas is the goat city to live thats why it led the nation in new residents last year. 300k moved to dfw area :snoop: i hate it, traffic is like LA now. but dallas is woat to visit for vacation there's nothing to do


Visiting. I like a good view and nature mixed with the city. So I was pleased. I went to one the Trinity Grove seafood spots. It was good.

Eric Johnson is running to become the next Mayor of Dallas. He was born in Dallas, Texas in 1975 to working class parents and raised in West Dallas and Oak Cliff. He attended Dallas Independent School District schools through the first grade before earning a scholarship to Greenhill School through the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas.

After graduating high school, Eric earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Harvard University before earning a graduate degree from Princeton University and a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

He has been married to his wife, Nikki, for eleven years. Together they have two sons, William (4) and George (1). They are members of Mountain View Church of Christ.

Eric has been a practicing lawyer in Dallas for the past fifteen years. He currently represents Dallas in the Texas House of Representatives. He was first elected in a special election in April 2010, and he was re-elected in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018. During his tenure in the Texas House of Representatives, Eric has served on nearly twenty prominent legislative committees and has proudly served as the Chairman of the Dallas Area Legislative Delegation.

Eric has served his city and his community throughout his entire life. He has served on the following Dallas area non-profit boards and commissions: Dallas Arboretum, The Arts Community Alliance, Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas, Inc., Dallas Afterschool Network, Educational Opportunities, Inc., Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center, Dallas County Historical Commission, West Dallas Chamber of Commerce, and Voice of Hope Ministries.

Dallas-Fort Worth ranks as the third highest-rated region for where millennials want to live, according to a study of major U.S. metro areas.

Three Texas cities took top spots in terms of offering the best value to millennial residents and D-FW trailed only Houston and Atlanta overall. Austin placed fifth.
