LVE his rookie year was a beast. Dude was a tackling machine. He would be on an island against position players and always made the tackle. Cowboys are cursed at linebacker. None of them can play the position naturally at a high level for more than 1 season. Even Sean Lee was overrated. The best line backer we’ve had in the last decade was Rolando McLain.

Edit: What Rich said was the feeling at the combine he got was "all in" meant they were paying Dak's last year instead of extending.
