As a Spurs fan, I feel like the Cowboys are where the Spurs were when Kawhi bounced. Instead of rebuilding, we chose to "compete"with derozen and aldridge. We didn't hit the reset till we realized we weren't going anywhere.

When is Jerry going to hit the reset button?

Im torn on DQ leaving.

His first two years, the defense did their part in the playoffs. Dak’s garbage ass lost those games.

This past year though, the defense was also like Dak. Feasted on bad teams and only played well at home and with a lead.

The next hire doesnt matter tho. We are doomed until we get a new qb

No they didn't. They gave up 23 points to the 49ers. And then 7 days later a packer defense that was rated below the cowboys in almost every category gave up 13. And then 14 days later the Rams held them to 17. So literally the only person who gave up more than 20 points that 49ers team that was supposed to be so good...was Dan Fugazzi.

That's pretty much Dan Fugazzi in a nutshell. If you take his game as a singular event...it looks ok. If you compare what his defenses do against teams what other defenses do against teams...his defense gives up more yards, punts, and NEVER gets off the field on 3rd down.

I had questioned if the cowboys could win 12 games again next year...but with Kellen in Philly and Dan in Washington they about to sleepwalk to at least 10...

The only way for him leaving to get better is if we can fleece Washington in a Parsons trade and get multiple 1st and 2nds for a guy who would go their and do exactly what Chase Young did there...nothing.

Washington don't have a Diggs or a Micah on defense...Quinn aint going to do nothing with them...

Quinn probably converting every linebacker they got to safety and telling all they DT's to lose 57 pounds as we speak

Exactly I been calling this defense unprovened since the September. You need two real linebackers. And I don’t include Oarsons in that because he’s not a linebacker, he’s an edge defender. Get players that are true to the position. I don’t want to see nomore Bell playing linebacker or Nick linebackers aka safety. We need a real center field safety backer because Hooker reverted back to a jag. I’m alight with Dono but he’s a box safety
