I have never bought something during a criterion sale that was not already out yet. So I am asking if I want it day one should I buy it from criterion themselves or the BN website or the store or Amazon etc?

Not sure how much stock BN stores gets of new shyt

I buy everything in store. I'll go once or twice during each sale to pick stuff up. I've never bought a Criterion for more than half of MSRP, and only outside of their sales when Amazon has a bizarrely low price for whatever reason (Night if the Living Dead and Othello being two I remember around $12 or $15.)

If its not out yet, or even if it's coming out a week or 2 after the sale, you can do ship-to-home orders with the discount and everything.

Other than that, I wait til the next sale. Day 1 only applies to me when that day is during the sale lol

I forgot you're patient AF. i'm the most impatient person in the world. If i can pre-order from Amazon for like $22 i'll do it rather than bother with driving to the store or deal with shyt being OOS like on the last BN sale.

I've learned. I used to but stuff quick....then watch it a year later when it was like 10-15 less than when I bought it. My "to watch" pile of discs plus my queues on Amazon, HBO, Hulu (TCM DVR), Netflix, Kanopy and Criterion makes it easier.

I want an individual release for Chunking Express
I pre ordered already since I'm impatient. $139 with their 30% off. I can't wait until July.
It is a travesty that he went full George Lucas on Fallen Angels though
