Corey a disgruntled ass comedian....dude doing better then 99% of comedians and actually living large of this shyt.....his problem however is that he always compares himself to the eddie murphys, chris rocks and what not. But what he dont understand is that hollywood aint about how talented you are....its about how good u network. And everybody aint a fruit booty.

This dude can't network for shyt. Jeff brown said he was gonna cast him in one of stuff and he been roasting him ever since :mjlol:
He’s picking right up from where Patrice O’Neal left…. Great comedic minds but equally as destructive. It’s a shame because he’s one of the few comedians left that has me dying laughing. But his attitude is really shytty.

And you’re 100% right about networking and attitudes. Yes, Eddie, Chris and Kevin are funny but look at their attitudes and the circle they keep. That makes a huge difference.

There was an Oprah interview with Eddie back in 1987… he must’ve been around 25/26 at the time. For a Breh to be at his peak and have his head screwed on like a wise old sage, you can see why he’s had such longevity.

See the way he carries himself like he’s a 30 year veteran in the game? Then compare that to how Corey acts in his 50s. Smh. It’s like night and day.

He fell out with Zo because the man didn't pay him his money after Corey said that he was going to take care of him.
That is a legit reason to be upset with someone.

As far as Grady, he put the man business out on air, I don't agree with that but Corey did it and Grady didn't like it, plus I believe the whole Grady not from Chicago issue kept being brought up, and Corey didn't like the situation.

Grady was a funny falling out, Corey asked him did he smash chicks on the road, I believe. Could have been more things that happened behind the scene but idk.

Ryan has his right to say how he feels but saying he fell out with ppl and not give the whole reason on why will paint a picture that Corey is the bad guy.

Should be interesting on Tuesday lmaooo

No he didnt. He fell out with zo because zo took Grady’s side and basically called Corey a hypocrite about the notorious Stephen a smith incident. Corey didn’t say anything about zo owing him money until after that incident.

Zo didnt even owe Corey any money, he just wanted to pay him to keep the friendship intact.

He’s not doing better than most comedians and that’s partly why he’s so disgruntled. Corey can’t get paid from YouTube ads because of the nature of his content, he has no social media for monetize, and Hollywood won’t really fukk with him. All Corey has is show money but these new comedians that aren’t even funny like “b Simone” and make more money than Corey from Instagram advertisements alone.

When the pandemic happened and shut down the comedy clubs, Corey was struggling.

Two things:

1) That T-springs dude was in the comments of that Sway interview arguing with the comments about who he was to Ryan. He should just ignore that shyt, he just pouring gas on the fire :mjlol:

2) One of the YT comments brought up a good point, Ryan shoulda been called Corey and squash this shyt before he was even presented with an opportunity to address it publicly. And I think Corey would of went light on Ryan, if Ryan kept it light and just focused on Corey. However, since he brought up Zo AND Grady, I know Corey is going to go scorched earth on Tuesday :francis:
Why should Ryan squash anything with Corey? Didn’t Corey bring start this whole mess? If I was around Corey, I would fukk with him but I would distance myself from him like kraig did.

Did anyone see that B-Day episode on Mane Stream, THAT WAS LOVE that was camaraderie at its finest, and Ryan was not there. goes to show you who really fw each other frfr.

To be fair to Ryan, he's in NC now so he realistically couldnt make it. Everyone on that Birthday Episode lives in Cali.

Cause he been speaking through Marcus like a lil hoe :mjlol:
It’s crazy how he’s trying to manipulate Marcus into not fukking with Ryan. You can visibly see that Marcus is uncomfortable. Marcus better tread lightly because when zo picked Grady side that’s when we saw Corey have that big outburst and the show ain’t been the same since :francis:

Have anyone ever seen Ryan stand up? Is he any good as he think he is?
I’ve seen Ryan Davis perform live and I’ve seen Corey Holcomb perform live.

:francis:

Both men are funny, but when you think about the amount of thought and planning it takes to purposely start the joke with something half the audience will disagree with, only to take them through the logical steps of why his perspective isn’t as crazy as it first sounded, you realize Ryan is a different level of comedian and operating on a higher level of intelligence. In that interview alone you can hear he’s more emotionally intelligent than Corey.

I’ve been a long time listener of Corey’s and what did Ryan say in that Sway interview that was wrong?

Corey will continue to be angry that his level of financial success doesn’t quite match up to how he’s publicly perceived. Hollywood and entertainment are filled with grimy dirt balls that will stab you in the back and smile in your face, however, it’s still a very corporate structure and if you can’t play the game the way they want you to play it, you won’t be welcomed. Corey fails to accept that he’s the reason he’s where he is.

Yeah, you dont see alot of eddie murphys because he has a unique combo of being funny, business wise and able to take his emotions out of situations...corey always talking about "GET AWAY FROM ME" to somebody he met.

Honestly, Marcus needs to be leary of both Corey and Ryan. They both low keybusing him to make digs at each other on some art of war type shyt.

Last week Corey made a big deal about giving Marcus stage time when Ryan curved him. Now Ryan on Sway announcing Marcus is opening for him at his next shows. They both using the little homey and the shyt is corny. :smh:

From what I gathered from that situation was Marcus flew to Houston with the assumption that Ryan was going to let him do a set just because they’re friends. I think he’s opened up for Ryan before it’s just that night they never discussed Marcus being on the show that night. I actually think Ryan and Marcus are friends. I think Marcus and Corey are friends until Marcus does something Corey doesn’t like.

For instance, If Marcus stays friends with Corey, Ryan won’t feel any type of way. But if Marcus stays friends with Ryan, Corey will do everything in his power to alienate Marcus like he did last show. Even when he sees Marcus is uncomfortable.

Kraig made a comment that went over Corey head, he said “can’t no nikka bully me into not liking someone just because he don’t like them”

I think Kraig needs to be on tour with Corey, I mean Kraig can do a few dates with Corey, I never hear Corey flying Kraig out to his shows.

Not trying to start anything but I do think Kraig has some talent, maybe Kraig doesn't want that setup but I do think Kraig may need to tap into Corey's "on the road" crowd.

I'm rooting for Kraig..

He took Kraig to TX with a few years back when he first joined 5150.
