Henry fukking Bendix makes a deal with The Lords of the Gun (from Hitman) and trades them The Ace of Winchesters (from Hitman) to get them to get Midnighter off his case....

for which The Mawzir (from Hitman) goes and kills Apollo and sends him to hell...

where someone who I SWEAR is Neron (not from Hitman) is waiting.

Yes, he is. But who knows? With Ennis being allowed to do all that shyt he does with Section Eight, Hacken showing up in Tomasi's Superman and now this, DC has quietly brought back a lot of the "Hitman" universe.

I like the way they have Doctor Strange numbered.

The #1 is up there in the corner like it's the first new issue (it's just the first in the storyline), old number is in the bottom corner.

It's really the old way before they started making all these fukking events, it's just refreshing to see.

Book was cool, too. I'm guessing this is how Strange is going to be for the movie? More artifacts and the like?

Looks like all the hell/magical lords are still fully powered, Strange might have to hook up with the vishanti or something.

Spread for the next issue looks boss. Can't wait.

Loved that splash page of Midnighter tearing through the goons on the train. And it was good to see that evil b*stard Bendix back.
I was wondering if that was Neron at the end of the book too. I can't remember the last time I saw him used in a comic. Was it the Reign in Hell miniseries?

I was hoping he would keep the beard even when he started wearing the blue again. The beard was such a strong identifier that he was not the guy everyone recognized as "their" Superman.
