Oh you'll love it g!
Especially in the wake of all this police fukkery going on in the states smh
I keep wondering if David Walker pitched Marvel on a Night-Thrasher book and Marvel told him to tweak it to feature Nighthawk since they were pushing the Squadron Supreme so hard. because everything about this book seems like it fits Night-Thrasher way more than Nighthawk from what i remember of how Nighthawk was introduced in the Supreme Power comic.

This was probably my favorite comic of last week. I had no interest in Red Hood and the Outlaws, but the Rebirth issue was very good, and I was pleasantly surprised.
Same here. I love the last page where it shows that Batman actually smiled for the photo. It's crazy cuz I randomly got Red Hood and the Outlaws cuz I never read a DC comic (no hate, just always been a Marvel dude. Which is weird cuz I love DC in every other medium, TV, movies, animation, etc just never picked up a comic) and I thought since DC is rebooting, this is probably a good time to start. Red Hood and the Outlaws was the only DC comic I saw go I read it and it ended up being my favorite book that I read this week.

How so?

I mean so far NH still resembles his Supreme Power self. Nothing seems blatantly mischaracterized. NH is the same gruesome, stonecole badass who hardly talked but made a lot of one-liner quips and shytted on cacs, who's pro-black and only focuses on black victims of crime etc. This book hasn't hit any breaks. The premise of this arc fits NH.

David even uses the same serial killer storyline from the original NH: Supreme Power book.

The only thing missing is him quoting Malcolm X.

I want to see him crossover with other black superheroes. There's so much untapped potential for fukkery if he ever meets Blue Marvel, Luke Cage, Storm or any black superhero, really.
