Just finished volume 2.

Between the anti-immigration 'jabs' at the start of his Sam Wilson run, to how he portrayed the Serpent Society as 'businessmen' calling American's out on hypocrisy, to 'Steve Rogers: Captain Hydra', to the now upcoming 'all black avengers' get-together parties... I fukks with Spencer.

He's a passive-aggressive political troll but his books are fairly well written, if not a bit text heavy; pretty much utilizes every page with dialogue or thought bubbles, a throw back to old school in a way, so i feel i get my money's worth per issue... even if i'm confused by the general direction at times.

Ill take spencer over remenders attempts to be political any day of the week .

Bendis ruined The Sentry beyond repair. Just took him then put him on the bench because he was too powerful to not break any story he wrote.

Of course he also jacked Warren Ellis' short Thunderbolts run completely for Dark Avengers but dropped all of the character development/psychology that Ellis put in that shyt.

And this man is now the one who thinks having Thanos show up with a gun somehow makes sense. Hell, he probably thinks it makes him look more "dangerous".

Well now i know not to read Dark Avengers, Ellis's Thunderbolts run is one of my favorite comics.

Picked up the three Rebirth one-shots this week (Aquaman, Flash, Wonder Woman). Aquaman's was pretty good, but it felt like they were trying a little too hard with the "COME ON, GUYS! HE DOESN'T TALK TO FISHES! SERIOUSLY!"

Flash was the best of the three, and it follows directly from Rebirth. It looks like Flash and Titans will be the titles to follow for what happened in Rebirth.

Wonder Woman was the weakest of the three, but I'm interested in this book the most. I'll probably trade wait it, but I'll be curious how they intertwine the two story arcs.

I also picked up Detective Comics 934. This was the Rebirth title I was most excited for, and I enjoyed it for the most part. It wasn't anything crazy, standard "let's assemble the team" issue, but the team itself is why I'll keep reading this title.

The last single issue I bought this week was Wacky Raceland #1. The premise is cool, and the writing was OK, but the art makes things really hard to follow. There were so many points where the art made it hard to figure out who was talking, and that wasn't helped by all the characters they introduced in the first issue.
