I don't get why everyone is talking about Dr Manhattan in regards to Rebirth when we should be talking about how godawful this 'three Jokers' angle is they're trying to go for now with Batman. The Dr Manhattan thing is just shameless shock baiting since it's really just Superboy Prime punching reality repackaged in a way that gets all comic fans' attention, but that Joker angle just has all different sorts of garbage written all over it.

Also, I didn't follow Darkseid War but Lex Luthor is running Apokolips now? These goddamn fukking wack angles, mayne. :snoop:
I just assumed everyone thought the three jokers thing was garbage :yeshrug:

I thought Rebirth was awesome but I love all of that overly melodramatic cosmic fukkery stuff.

Captain America was meh though. The whole Cap being in Hydra thing is stupid and Tom Brevoort going around telling anyone who will listen to him that this is not mind control, a clone, an imposter or a doppleganger but the one and only Steve Rogers just comes across as obnoxious to me since we all know it is going to be one of those things at the end of the day. Plus that shield looks stupid as fukk. There is no good reason why Steve didn't take his shield back from Falcon.
And why the hell is Sharon Carter being drawn like she is 65 year old?

If you guys like black excellence. White supremacist getting their asses beat badly. A GOOD story that touches base on the current crime situation of Chiraq. And a book that addresses cops killing black folks then Nighthawk is the book to get!

Also still have not gotten Black Panther #1, I swear that book keeps getting sold out. As for DC I am glad they are bringing back New Earth, I felt N52 was not only a waste of time, but a massive failure...

The outrage this is causing among Jewish readers is almost comical. :umad:I mean obviously it's bait. They're not really gonna go there.... right?:lupe:

Steve Rogers' Captain America Just Became One Of The Biggest Villains

Steve Rogers’ Captain America Just Became One Of The Biggest Villains In The Marvel Universe

“The entirety of the Marvel Universe has a snake at its bosom.”

In Steve Rogers #1, it’s revealed that Steve was recruited by Hydra when he was a kid. And that he’s still working with them. It’s a controversial decision, to say the least – especially given that Hydra is an organization with strong Nazi ties.
:scust:that's ridiculous. He spent his entire career battling them but he was secretly a member?! With the exception of the movies I'm not really a Captain America fan but this is some straight bs.

Right, which is why the Red Skull theory is the only thing that makes sense right now. Unless they have a completely new and shocking trick up their sleeves, which would be nice too.

I'm currently reading it right now. The girl at the comic shop was going off about it when I was checking out. We'll see how things go.

I don't think the "three Jokers" thing is meant in terms of three different physical bodies/people. Boy, that'd make Batman look like an idiot if he's been fighting three different guys and never knew it. I think it all has to do with his personality/sanity.

The Joker's mind is so messed up and all over the place, we'll never know who he really is. And that's the way it should be.

:scust:that's ridiculous. He spent his entire career battling them but he was secretly a member?!

I'm pretty sure it was Tom Brevoort who said Steve Rogers was absolutely, completely dead after the original Civil War and there was no way to bring him back. Except they did bring him back. Brevoort is saying something similar this time that this is the real Steve Rogers and there's no fukkery going on -- it's just who he's always been.
