I wonder what issue snyder is leaving on. I've bought his run issue by issue since #1, minus the annuals. I was waiting for him to finish.

I stopped getting TMNT since #50, and i'm done with Marvel after secret wars. I'm going into temporary retirement once East of West, Tokyo Ghost, and Deadly Class are done.

Ain't that the truth. The reboot was completely botched.... There are so many things you can say about the nu52. So many terrible missteps.

they should have let grant and geoff finish their batman and gl runs before rebooting.


Teen Tians/Young Justice were popular shows.. but DC doesn't understand synergy I guess. Instead gave us a book with Lobdell as a writer

Earth 2 was a great book, then DC kicked Robinson off. Then Earth 2 turned into Injustice pt2.... and just... Under Robinson it was probably the premier team book. I thought it far better than JL

According to the stories I read this ("Rebirth" that is the name they are going with from the tweet below posted by Jim Lee) is going to try and make the comics a bit more in line with the other media properties.
Them keeping Lobdell on Titans has been such a bad move because that book has been a complete shyt show under him.
And while I liked Earth 2 when Robinson was writing it, the book got way better when Tom Taylor took over.

Anybody reading those Aftershock books?
I picked up all of the ones they released and every one of them has been pretty damn good.
Think my favorite might be Super Zero.

Apparently DC is rebooting the whole line and Snyder is leaving Batman for detective comics

I also don't know why they keep trying to make the comics into the films
casual movie goers don't care about the comics
and a lot of the movie and tv stuff is for merchandise sales anyways

Its not a reboot though. Its pretty much what Marvel has been doing with the "All New, All Different" marketing over the last few years. its basically a way to put out new #1 issues to get that sales bump.

I almsost (almost) forgot about them cutting that Batwoman storyline were she was gonna go toe-to-toe with Batman I bought the trade late, not understanding the writer left.
