Al Ewing really isn't a draw his other books aren't selling either and besides BP and Cap Marvel the team is filled with C & D listers
Vision is selling badly because Vision is the lead sadly.
Yea I knew Ultimates was in a tough spot when issue #1 did only 65k last month. Typically first issue sales lets you know about the initial hype of a book, because of the writer/artist/variant covers/characters involved, etc... but then sales attrition sets in for the ensuing issues, and you'll typically lose 40-50+% of that issue #1 audience unless it's Batman, Spiderman or a big event book like Secret Wars. It's only issue #2 and Ultimates already dropped 50%The Ultimates and Vision were ranked 66 and 68 in December sales.

It's still a great read but from it's very announcement I felt it was a little too early to throw Black Panther in this type of book in his ANAD debut, in which he would have to carry it when his own mythos were only just now coming out of the gutters. I would've preferred a team where he again got to be around a buncha other B to B+ level heroes who all piggy back off of each other's popularity like they did in NA/Illuminati. B/c in this book, the plot is great but the character development is pretty generic, which isn't good when Blue Marvel, Chavez and unfortunately even Monica are kinda bottom of the barrel in recognition and hype.

I'm a fan and I'm completely baffled by this shyt. Instead of pushing her like an A-lister, how about you actually get someone to write some great stories. Putting her in every goddamn team has never worked for anybody.
Also, with Bendis writing the Iron Man book I have no doubt that this whole Civil War II event is just going to be an Iron Man circle jerk.
