So brehs, I work at a place that deals with the removal of material. So I'm walking thru the facility and see a bunch of comics. I mean like a 100. I look around and see shyt like printed out artwork, receipts and employee pictures for a certain comic company. Comics were of the special cover FE 1 shots and LT variants. I'm looking at all of it like :mjcry:

They're gonna destroy them. :mjcry:

oh my fukking god.
It's cool but Ewing needs to study Ellis or Morrison some more because he can't sell that high concept pseudo-science like they can one bit.

:heh: but nah, it's great cause it feels "dumbed down" enough to pull a bigger audience, but not enough to insult the folks that's used to that kinda thing.

It's like us being :gladbron: when The Authority came out on the big screen

Now Showtime or AMC or Netflix does "The Authority" level stuff......

New Readers like :gladbron:

Us folks is like :obama:

So Stick just git it like that huh?
Take down The Sentry?? :stopitslime:

You fukkin right, bih. :stopitslime:

:heh: nah, for real. this is STICK we're talking about. He may still be gruff homeless vietnam vet ninja like they got him on Netflix still, I think dude been One With The Force for a long time. I'd like to imagine he physically died after training young Matt and now he's just some ethereal concentration of Chi Energy or some shyt.

That would be the shyt. Stick the Ascended Master. Folks like Shang Chi and Iron Fist hit a wall and wanna learn from the best, they go on a quest looking for him and never find him.

They ask Matt, Elektra and Wolverine, they :yeshrug:

They give up and go home.

A drunk Stick magically appears next to them while they're taking a shyt and sounds like a combination of Rick from Rick and Morty and Mickey from Rocky. "whua...... what da fukk you invoking my.... my name for ya fukkin bum:what:"

:whoa: sorry.

I'm guessing Stick showed him how to have peace of mind and not be at war with himself/The Void, same thing folks like Matt, Wolvie and Elektra go to him for.

Sentry prolly collapsed from not having to deal with the strain.

Can't teach that to a God of War.

Anyone read the sonic comics? :flabbynsick:

I still do on occasion. The og writer, Ken Penders quit in 2005, and Ian Flynn took over since then. He did a much better job, but a bullshyt lawsuit from Penders a couple of years ago took all the characters out from his run. Since then, it's mostly just SEGA characters and not the original ones from the comics of old.

Marvel Says Death of High-Profile Hero Ignites "Civil War II"

The New York Daily News reports that Bendis and company settled on the fate of the high-profile characters at a recent Marvel editorial retreat, and that when they decided who would go to comic book superhero-heaven, and who would be left with blood on their hands, the gathered writers and editors cheered at the dramatic choice.
The official "Civil War" synopsis reads, "A mysterious new Marvel character comes to the attention of the world, one who has the power to calculate the outcome of future events with a high degree of accuracy. This predictive power divides the Marvel heroes on how best to capitalize on this aggregated information, with Captain Marvel leading the charge to profile future crimes and attacks before they occur, and Iron Man adopting the position that the punishment cannot come before the crime."
