The Ultimates relaunch is one of the best books out since the ANAD Marvel Universe started in October because of the roster mainly.

Reed had DECADES to solve the Galactus problem, and T'Challa and Blue Marvel got it done in two issues
I agree, I like the roster. Ewing just gotta make sure he gives some life and sex appeal to the cast so that they don't fall into Super Friends category, especially since there's no comedic relief guy nor slutty trouble maker or anyone who isn't a mature adult outside of Chavez.

But still, we do know T'Challa can come across super arrogant. Adam, super conservative. Carol & Monica both hot headed/a bit insecure, 'attractive' and a history of competing against each other. So Ewing can really make this team and cast stand apart if he can channel into what makes them each tick and not hold back in the characterizations.

Is that the Messiah Complex? Apocalypse was so dope in that. Honestly, Remender was killing it with his Apocalypse plot until he brought in the twins and went off the deep in with the useless, unnecessary alternate future. I liked seein Apocalypse not really there, but his menace kind of looming over the entire story, then he appears and fukks shyt up. Great

A Villa Straylight.
Ultimates #2 continues to impress. I think it was a great opening 2 issue arc to show what this team is capable of when they're all on the same page.

With that said... i think the juiciness of this book will hinge on them not being flawless. BP and BM are the pinnacle of black excellence but it's better if they clash with one another in ways that'll make you nervous of the fallout. Carol is supposed to be this blonde super pawg with attitude so some subtle attraction to one or both of the brehs would give some intrigue to build on. Chavez already comes with her own built-in trust issues but she prob needs a big bro/lil sis thing with BP where we can see her open up some. And Monica either gotta beef with Carol again or something so she doesn't get lost in the crowd.

Should be a little like the Justice League's big 7 where from the outside they seem flawless, well-oiled and unconquerable but internally we the fans see that they argue, squabble, lust, politic, etc... but just on a more grown man/woman stage.
This is how I think it goes down. Bm and BP butted heads once before secret wars. Im.sure this will become a Batman superman situation where there is a hard decision. BP will be like do it and BM will say no. Monica and BM were on their way to being an item during Mighty Avengers, Spider man asked them were they dating since they were together so much. America and Monica will Bond I'm sure big sis little sis style. Carol will crush on BM, probably and it will lead she and Monica to butt heads again. This lifebringer story line was cool but Marvel won't let it last, it does prove that Panther and Adam have more guts and brains than Reed at this point.

He's just him. Not much info given on why they did that. I'd recommend the series if you've read Earth 2. If you're a Darkseid fan, he's not in it a lot. He only makes appearances and is really only used more in the final 2-3 issues. His presence is felt throughout the series.

I'm surprised no one has discussed TMNT/Batman, let alone TDK3. :patrice:
nikkas tired of Batman he's getting :flabbynsick:
