Ultimate Invasion had a dope finale but it really hurt it being only 4 issues. Cool start and cool ending, mediocre middle portion.

So the Ultimate Universe will be 6160? If Peter wasn't bitten by the spider and Miles stayed in 616, does that mean Ultimate Spiderman is gonna be a brand new character created by Hickman?

Is Hickman writing Ultimate Universe? I thought he was only doing Ultimate Spider Man and that starts in January IIRC

EDIT: just checked, he is so basically Marvel gave him his own corner to do whatever the fukk he wants without affecting 616 continuity. You add this project to G.O.D.S. and Marvel is doing anything to not let him go to DC and get his New Gods pitch green lit I guess

Or his Legion of Super-Heroes pitch. Hickman has said it's a dream of his to write Legion.

I would love to see what a Hickman Legion book would be like. Legion of Super-Heroes is one of those franchises that everybody talks about how great it is but I've never been able to get into it.

Yeah, in the Cerebro podcast he was still pushing the idea and saying it's a really dope pitch. He clearly wants to get that gig when the opportunity becomes available. With a lot of big time writers working both companies right now, I do wonder if DC could scoop him in for a 12 issue series at least.

I just read Ultimate Invasion again. And I just wanted to see if others who read it got the same understanding:

(1) We are to assume that Tony Stark (Iron Lad) ends up becoming Kang the Conquerer?
(2) The reason The Maker couldn't find Captain America is because Tony Stark and Reed created an Immortus Engine (Time Machine) and moved Cap at an earlier date in history than when the Maker went to find him?
