Yknow. For the last couple years there has been people trying to frame the downfall of Peter Parker spider man on miles becoming somewhat popular and supposedly replacing Pete. And like I've been telling them this whole time, Pete's in a sorry state because the writers are putting him in one. It honestly feels like writers hate Peter Parker. From one more day to the gwen/Osborn shyt to fukking superior, the recent shyt with mj and Paul and now this? There was a point where we used to be able to say that daredevil was the most suffering in marvel. But Pete has clearly taken that crown

Anybody read the last issue Black Adam? Why did Bolt just look at Teth Adam getting jumped and fly away? It seemed weird that Bolt didn't try to help him.

I have mixed feelings about the Hellfire Gala. On one hand I understand there was a need to push the story forward but I really liked the idea of Krakoa being a nation and mutants being something different than hated and feared by everyone. This is the thing a lot of people wanted though: no more island for the foreseeable future, only a handful of mutants living on Earth and the big bad on ORCHIS leading the way for the next arc.

My only question is if the gates lead those 250k mutants to the Atlantic island that Mother Righteous kept for herself or am I mixing up two different things happening at the same time? @WhenWeWereKings

fukking HATE what Moira ending up becoming. The X-Office making her a hilariously cartoonish villain annoys the fukk out of me mainly because Hickman gave her such a dope retcon with so many dope possibilities -and even the twist in Inferno was such a well made tragedy- that her current status is just :francis: nothing she's done since she turned heel couldn't have been done by another established member of ORCHIS....

BTW. Another good issue of Ultimate Invasion, Hitch's art felt better than issue #1. I don't see how this can have a satisfactory ending though, feels like this needs at least another 4 issues but I guess the point is to just lay the ground work to whatever Marvel wants to do with this new universe. I kinda want more of Hickman writing The Maker though :francis:

I do have my issues with the story but to me at least it was entertaining if you suspend belief enough and ignore some shoddy plotting and PIS. I look at it like a summer block buster. The more you think about it, the more the plot falls apart.

Once again the X-Men had to act like complete idiots to move the story forward. Since the Krakoan era, this has been what; the fifth time the island has been invaded?

The second time the "attack from high orbit" tactic has been used. So, the island nation that has Forge, Cyclops and Bishop on it and not ONE of them has thought of a counter to this maneuver yet?

The lack of Omega level mutants combating Orchis was also embarrassing. Iceman was giving Nimrod that work solo. Proteus who was shown transmuting Sentinels couldn't just transform the whole lot of them to paper planes? Exodus couldn't just scatter their atoms across the island?

I'm not sure how many mutants Mother Righteous have on her island. I need to re-read it.

I agree Moira's turn into a Saturday morning cartoon villain has been poorly executed at best. I wish we could've gotten more nuance from her turn. Like in reality she has realized that the mutants never win, and her many lives have made her bitter and cynical. So, in her own twisted view, the best course of action was to lure all the mutants to the island and "curing" them.

What pisses me off the most about Moira is that even when Hickman capitulated on her being the most important part of the Krakoan "dream", he gave the X-Office a great story of her turning her back on mutants because they always lose just as we learn that this 10th life of hers with the Krakoan plan is when finally "mutants always win". Duggan completely shrugging off that part of Inferno is :snoop:
