Check out the YouTube channel ComicPop Returns they did a huge talk about it. Basically it's a subscription newsletter service sniping writers from Marvel and DC to do independent books for their service. You subscribe to the individual ones you like for various fees per person like $7 a month for one guy maybe $7 a month for another writer. Basically it's like a Patreon but Substack gave these writers *(probably gigantic) payments upfront.

It was pretty much the same way in the beginning of the original Nightwing book by Chuck Dixon...Blockbuster was the kingpin of crime in Bludhaven then too.

I'm assuming Bunn's pitch tied more closely to The Avengers if it was supposed to be like Justice League Dark.

Spider Man - Life Story Annual #1 was great. A perfect company piece to an awesome fukking series

Cable Reloaded was a really fun read, glad to have the old man back and interacting with the SWORD crew. Also, Cable's interaction with Rocket is a must read

These last two Wolverine issues are by far the best I've read from Percy as an X-writer. Love the Solem character and fukkery and love that Logan keeps catching Ls to him

I want a 2 year storyline of wolverine running across the whole of creation trying to catch Solem the same way Inspector Zenigata tries to catch Lupin the 3rd.

Everytime Logan gets to a place, he finds out that Solem stole more of his shyt and fukked more of his girls
