Cap has proven time and time again that he doesn't trust them, save Logan.

But I'm glad they didn't fully revert Scott back to where he was 20+ years ago. They're dialing back on the extremism, but he's still thinking as he was before Phoenix Force incident.

I was worried we’d get pre Morrison Scott and he’d go on an apology tour. That would’ve been a horrible angle to take.

Glad he’s acknowledged he’s made mistakes but he’s still forging forward almost in the same vein pre Phoenix five days.

@parallax your right Why should cap trust the x-men outside logan how many times as members of x-men gone evil and to take over the world or kill alot of non mutant human I mean look at what going on with X-man or hell look at all the wild stunt the summer family have done in the past it make it make sense for cap not to trust them.

It’s not like an avenger ever turned bad or went crazy and wiped out half the mutant population or led a fascist regime that took over America....

Hey sir come on now Hank and Tony and other avengers who fukk up big time get call out all the time and sometimes too much with at times with hank compare to other. also captain america was brainwash by Kobik who was being manipulated by Red Skull clone and Scarlet Witch when she try join up again with avengers they want it nothng to do with her they only let back in because she save them from Phoenix-powered X-Men.and at that was she the only heavy hitter at the time who could stand up to the might of the Phoenix Force.

Your superhero work has almost exclusively involved team series as opposed to books focusing on individuals. Is there a reason that you like working with big casts and are there any Marvel characters that you’d consider writing a solo series for?

I'd very much like to do a single protagonist book. In fact, I'll probably do that next. As for what it'll be, I dunno, there's some Black Panther stuff I was thinking about doing, I have a Captain Marvel story, I like Nova, I like Doctor Strange. We'll see.

avengers have actually put their own in jail though. not house murderers with their kids or protect them because "were all we got"send out your depowered kids after that wipe out you mentioned only to have them get killed on your own front lawn, or dictate the fate of all mankind on a whim without even trying to look for proper training, i mean to turn cap fascist, history had to be rewriiten.

It is goal post moving because it's irrelevant and only seeks to muddy the water from the original point which is that Cap has teammates who've done bad and yet he trusts them just fine. The who's, the why's and the how's of why they turned bad and how they were handled is completely irrelevant.

why should he trust people that dont trust him? he has no problem with mutants or trusting them. theres been a bunch of xmen on avengers squads. and what goal posts have i moved? if the avengers arent to be trusted, then it damn sure shouldnt be the xmen pointing the finger

when your mutant leaders are fine with the most of them living in the sewers until they want to mobilize a force, then they need to be side-eyed. when they constantly take in a flip flopping terrorist, they need to be looked at funny

im not gonna trust someone who constantly tells me to fukk off, no one would. and thats been scotts mo for a minute. say what you want about hank, clint, other scott, and other imprisoned avengers, but not only have they paid their debt to society, but theyve made attempts to earn caps respect.

Sir it not muddy the waters it one of the core of conflict between captain america and cyclops IMO and I think another one is that captain america and cyclops come from two different worlds captain america is a member of a traditional superhero team while cyclops is a member of a freedom fighter team. Seeing how hated mutants are in their world cyclops and the rest of the x-men members have adopt the mindset that so long as your willing stand up for mutants to live in peace. it does not matter what evil things you done before of your own free will.so long as you’re willing fight for mutants rights to live in peace your good in their book. While captain america being a more traditional superhero who live in different from the one the mutants have to deal with has the mindset of "The good does not wash the bad nor the bad the good." .
