X-Men Disassembled is a 10 part weekly series that brings together just about every mutant left in the Marvel universe, and Marvel is saying that it features "an epic tale of mystery and tragic disappearance, with an adventure so earth-shattering, it could very well be the X-Men’s FINAL mission!"

The series is being written by Ed Brisson, Kelly Thompson, and Matthew Rosenberg, and will be drawn by Mahmud Asrar, R.B. Silva, and Yildiray Cinar.

Fantastic Four #1 was meh.

:mjlol: at them doing that parody vignette in the end pretty much recognizing this n°1 was mostly a cash grab and what fans wanted will happen next month. Didn't even try to be slick about it :dead:

It bummed me out that most of what Zdarsky did in Two In One was thrown to the bushes. There was 1 line of dialogue acknowledging they went looking for the fam through the multiverse and that was it, Ben and Johnny have their powers (I guess that could be explained in the coming issues of Two-In-One though) and I had no clue what was going on with Doom, I haven't read anything else involving him so maybe that was part of another comic? idk.
I agree. You don't do the long awaited come back for the FF the way Slott did it in that comic.
And I was confused by the fact that almost nothing from Two In One seemed to be referenced and I had no fukking clue either what the deal was with Doom running around in a loincloth.

Supergirl: Probably my favorite book of the week. Not a lot to say here, just some set-up for the upcoming arc that I'm very excited for (I made a post about it a couple days ago). This is the Superman family book to read.
I agree with you about Supergirl. Marc Andreyko is setting up a good mystery and he has a really good handle on Kara as a character and her interactions with other characters in the DCU.
Also loved that Krypto is gonna be her sidekick on this mission. I have been a Krypto fan since I was a kid.
This caption had me smiling like a total goober:

Remember this exchange back in April :sas2:

I've never give a fukk about fantastic four outside of the cartoon

a lot of people were faking the funk over the fantastic four. That fox issue was making people get upset over a series they didn't give a fukk about

I wonder if they will keep that same energy when the book comes out

You already know they wouldn't.

Issue #1 will do big sales numbers, esp with the variant covers and all that. Then the novelty will wear off soon after. There will probably be spikes of interest when it comes to seeing them interact with certain characters again, whether they guest appear in the FF book or outside of it.

I'm still sticking to this :sas1:

Even more so now that i actually skimmed through #1 and realized the only thing epic about it was the cover art
