The end to Spider-Man (Mile's book) was very anti-climatic. Although it's a pretty accurate depiction of what it's like to be in a hospital for a week.
After #21, it jumps to #234? Did this have an annual? Stopped at #12, I would like to archive and catch up another time.

It didn't have an annual. It jumped to 234 when Marvel started renumbering some of their books to their old legacy numbers. Don't know why they did it to Miles' book tho.
