Roc Marciano's "Reloaded" was just re-released onto vinyl and I got that. The old releases were going $50 so I'm happy about that.

I ordered some cassettes from Little Axe Records. They put out cassettes with a bunch of different types of older music. One that I have is just 1960s/1970s soul and funk from Barbados. Anyway, they must have been out of one of the tapes because I received Henry Thomas "Bull Doze Blues" on LP. It's old blues, 1920s era. It influenced some of the white 1960s rockers. Good stuff.

About to go out for RSD. Numero Group has a pop-up store that I'm going to go to. Besides that, not really sure where I'm going to go.

Copped the record store day version of the God Box today. I’ve been digging in the crates for two years now and I’m loving it. Especially being able to barter old albums that I didn’t like to find new shyt that I do like.

Man I’m leaning more towards this now lol. I was all in when I bought my little rinky dink record player two years ago and I ate that same year. Now that I’m really invested into digging in the crates the record store day shyt is really lame now. They barely had anything worth a damn to cop this year... I only copped the God Box because it was at a reasonable price and I heard it only once. shyt is just a money grab at this point... I bet a lot of that shyt will still be in the stores next weekend lol

i see the shyt my homie who has a store posts (and what i see left over whenever i go in after rsd) and i'm blown away that there is a market for some of the garbage shyt being reissued in whatever asinine format (give a motherfukk about colored vinyl, this, that and the third). people can have that fukkin day, i'm usually one of two or three people in the store on any other day. it's great.

that's not even mentioning the money grab aspect of like you said. shame that that type of shyt is clogging up the plants for quality releases.

Yeah I was wowed by color vinyl in the beginning but I’m over it now lol. They have soooooo much weak shyt out here from bands that nobody knows. The people behind RSD be fronting on hiphop anyway when that’s what sells out first(at least in Charlotte) Saw boxes left of a Fleetwood Mac and The Cure album while the hiphop was selling out.. Some of those releases don’t even make sense.. Them fools had a damn Rob Base and DJ Easy Rock release? Really? They had a damn Krush Groove release for over 20 bucks.. I found that shyt for 5 dollars like two weeks ago. It’s getting ridiculous man and people have been saying that for a couple years now.

Couldn’t find that damn Enter the 36 Chambers cassette anywhere today smh. Picked up that Dre Day 12” just because it has that Puffin On Blunts joint. Also grabbed that Light On the Southside comp from Numero. It’s all blues influenced r&b from the 1970s. It comes with a hardback book of pictures taken at a bar on the south side in 1979.
