Can we do a mega break down for traveling within these price ranges?

Where can you travel to? How long? Etc

It really depends on the type of vacation and any type of vacation can be cheap or expensive depending on how much spending money you need once you arrive at your destination.

For example, if you get an all-inclusive remote beach vacation, then most of your money will go into the resort and airfare. You won't be leaving the resort area much, so not a lot of extra spending money will be needed.

In contrast, if you go to a European metropolitan city, you could go frugal on the room, then ball out on going to events, important place, food, etc. It just depends on what you wanna do while you're there.

It also depends on where (in the USA) you're flying from and the time of year. East coast cities have cheaper flights to Europe. Texas, Arizona and California have cheaper flights to Central & South America. Atlanta & Miami have cheaper flights to the Caribbean Isles. Midwest States.... Canada.

My opinion, flights (Book early)

Under 1k: Mexico, Canada, Caribbean (Minus the Southern Antilles; Curaçao, Aruba), All of Central America & most of South America (Brazil & Argentina exception) Europe (except Summer)

Under 2k: South America including Brazil & Argentina, Southern Antilles (Curaçao, Aruba), Most of Africa (West and South; except during Christmas/New Years), Japan Australia & New Zealand (if you fly from west coast).

2k+: Will get you anywhere except islands in the South Pacific Ocean or some Indian Ocean locations: Maldives, Tahiti, French Polynesia, Micronesia, Guam, etc.

5k: Will get you to the islands I named above, but you better have family there or know someone that will let you stay.

10k+: Money ain't a thang!

Do y’all solo travel or go with friends?
We mostly travel alone now

we stopped travelling with family and friends, they just seem to hold us back or just want to drag you into doing things you don't want to do.

for family, the last time we went to the DR in 2021 to an all inclusive and the younger ones (late 20's to mid 30's) went to an offsite Casino without telling anyone, masks off caught Covid and damn near gave it to the entire group and had to Quarantine in the all inclusive, so, for example, if you had the grand suite , you had to stay in that bytch until you tested negative at your cost. I think 8 out of 13 tested positive because of those idiots. Luckily the wife and i did not test positive. Brother in law wound up spending $3500 extra because of that ( ouch!)

the last time we travelled with friends (Cruise - Mega Ship) , they did not want to do anything on the cruise ship or do any shore excursions
Told the wife after day one of sitting around and just talking that I was not sitting around, waiting for them muthafukkas to make up their minds, so we just ate dinner with them for the rest of the cruise. they did absolutely nothing the entire trip.

About to take my first trip to Europe next year March, excited for it lol

Gonna do London, Paris, Amsterdam & Berlin in 2 weeks
I'm definitely gon hit Germany last, but if y'all had to choose, would y'all do Berlin, Frankfurt or Munich?

If it helps, I like learning about history; sports, gambling, outdoor activities, eating good food & listening to music. I definitely wanna do some day parties & hit spots that play rap/R&B/dancehall/Afrobeats.

Largest island in the Caribbean, there are alot of gems.

Like @MikelArteta said Havana is sick, they shoot the cannons into the sea from the fortress. Malecón 😅 is nice to drive down.

Topes de collantes has a lot of beautiful greenery, I think there's one of the national parks there. When I went, me and my boy did some cliff diving and excursions - make sure you do it. I think

Cienfuegos is a dope town to visit, again very historical, if you like history Cuba's the place to be. Especially since there's still people alive who lived through the revolution, they have stories.

Trinidad has a lot of history and architecture from colonial times, it's worth seeing it. If you see end up in that town where they made a statue for that slave catching dog, make sure you spit on it :wow:

From what my girls cousin told me, the food/supply storages is even bigger, don't forget to bring something to give the cleaning staff and people you know.
