I'll get this right out the way now.....the trope's about SA women butts is true. It's not an exaggeration. You will see multiple people built like @lemo_lucia every day. women with no body are the exception here not the other way around
coloured women are hit or miss like a mug. they either look like padma lakshmi or luis guzman . their bodies are in no way comparable to the black african women
white women are whatever, some of them look like models but alot are mid.
food here is top tier and affordable. I had wagyu steak for the first time for $40. You can get good steaks for like $15 at upper level restaurants. It would be very hard to spend $100 here on dinner for two. Buying a bottle is nothing as well as drinks are cheap here too
the income disparity here is jarring. you see a ton of foreigns like ferraris and bentleys. It seem like range rovers and benz here is nothing special. One dealership I saw had late model land rovers for $15k USD so I wonder if certain cars are cheaper here than the U.S. At the same time there are townships with crazy levels of poverty. It seems like white people still own the majority of resources. It sucks because alot of the upper tier stuff you going do here will be with/around white people. I went to one town where it felt like I was in germany somewhere.
driving right hand drive on the left side of the road is interesting. i still can't decide if it's safer or not vs how we drive in the states. this did make me appreciate smaller cars though. rented some toyota i never heard of that's the size of a fiat abarth/honda fit and parking and maneuvering with ease has me wondering why small cars aren't more popular with single people back home
google maps took me through one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the world one day. like 80 got killed there the other weekend. I saw people throwing rocks at each other on some palestine tip and they set a fire next to the highway and the police were just standing there. that's another thing there are tons of private police here. this is increasingly becoming a thing where I live in philly so it was interesting to see it fully fleshed out somewhere else
