Lagos we coming...
Think I’m doing Japan again with my Mrs next year for about 1-2 months. She’s a native speaker, so this time it’s gonna be
That's dopeIf you haven't learned any Japanese, you have a lot of time until your trip to get a decent grasp of the language.
Came back from Japan last week and I'm ready to go back.
I did a homestay for a few days with a local family and they were wonderful, authentic Japanese experience, breakfast, hanging out and chatting.
Then moved on to a hotel when my friends flew out.
While I was there the temperature was between 30-35 degrees, add the humidity and it felt like I was turning into pudding. It was Jamaica levels of hot.
I did a few meetup groups to talk with locals and get some numbers. They use an app called Line which is like their version of WhatsApp.
The women over there put me on to clubs and to other women. They love brothas over there, especially if you take the time to learn their language and culture.
I was getting homesick after a while because I didn't get to chill with black people other than my friends. There are black people over there that when you say what up or give the nod, you can tell that they haven't seen other black people in a minute.
I always made sure to speak to other brothas over there.

I'll be back to detail more of these but man, if y'all haven't gone over to Japan, you have to find yourself there at least for 2 weeks.
It's so damn cold in Canada.
That's dope
Glad you had fun..I need to go to Japan
Bro as a Canadian this is woat time
Where in Canada you from?Yeah man, definitely worth the experience.
They got the Olympics next year so its going to be a little pricey unless there are deals out.
I have to go shopping for a new coat and boots. Canada ain't the spot for me. Get my winter tires on soon. 6-7 months of cold, might as well move to Finland.
brehs
prague
berlin
or vienna
anyone ever been?

Winter is depressing
How were the clubs in Japan..?
Depends who you're with/what you want to do
Prague: Good for partying, beer and eastern European traditional architecture.
Berlin: Pretty similar, but less partying and more sterile.
Not been Vienna, the Mrs just came back from there and said it was ok - but nothing crazy
I'd personally do Prague
I did a course as soon as I got back for 3 months so I have the grasps still and can ready Hirigana, Katagana but not Kanji. I'll be OK to do the basics out there, but conversational Japanese, no.
Still not sure when we are going to go, but probably will be after the Olympics.
Oh that's good, Kanji I struggled with.
I listened to Japanese radio and used italki.com for teachers. I'm conversational and can understand a lot.
Just gotta keep my nose in the books.
Their weather is great any time you choose, you'll be fine with.
I'd say keep a food budget separate from your travel funds. That will go quick.
Try the fried chicken from 7-11 and ask if places have a table fee before you sit down at restaurants.
