Thinking about if I should cop this camera before or after my NYC trip. It'd be nice to have it while biking around, at the same time, not sure if this is the place I wanna crack it out for its first shots.

I got the pixel 3 few months back and I gotta say I'm extremely impressed by the quality of pics it puts out especially night time pictures with the "night mode", it puts some point and shoot cameras to shame. It's not quite DSLR level if you know what you're doing, but for most novice folk it's more than enough to put out high quality photos

It’s a DSLR. I’m getting in photography as a hobby, especially as I travel quite a bit.
