Europeans place greater value on public spaces. Public parks, transport etc

You'll go to the park and see people from 2 yrs to 80 yrs just relaxing.

Some people reading, some writing, some socializing but all in all just chilling.

EDIT: I'm at the park in front of the Louvre and there's this dude trying to finger his girl discreetly under their picnic blanket :mjlol:

Bruh, we all know what you doing lol

I think Europeans place greater value on just chilling in general. Hanging in the park, 2 hour lunch breaks, 35 hour work weeks. They know there's more to life than work.

Yeah, it's easy to relax when you know if shyt hits the fan the government got you to a degree. Here in the US, you gotta get it out the mud.

Euro Trip over. Solid trip. Shout to that man @mbewane dude is a real one :salute:

He put me on to a dope West African Restaurant in Paris.

I did make a few mistakes on this trip though.

1. Bought 5 bottles of wine in Paris but forgot to get then sealed. Security snatched that with quickness when I tried to board.

2. Forgot to take a picture with one of my best friends I hadn't seen in 6 years :snoop:. At least we got to meet.

Well, it's official. The flight for my first international trip has been booked. I'm going to Spain from late March into early April 2019. Barcelona is where I'm spending most of my vacation, but I'll be making stops in:

Madrid(where I'll be first arriving when I fly into the country.... ridiculous layover tho)

San Sebastian: Beaches and bytches

Logroño: La Rioja Wine Country

Gijón: Chuleton and Cider

In Barcelona, I plan on seeing FC Barcelona play twice before leaving. Two pretty good games. Catalan Derby vs Espanyol and against Atlético de Madrid.

Plenty of tapas, churros and sangria while I'm there.

Any other places I should visit? I know I didn't even mention southern Spain.

Also, what should I expect being African-American

It's not Real Madrid tho. The only time I'll be in Barcelona, and I won't ever get to experience an El Clásico match.

Those tickets are ridiculous too! Nosebleeds are $300 USD for both games. Grandstand (behind the players)
are a little over $1000 for Espanyol and $1400 for Atletico Madrid.

HK is my favorite Asian city. towering skyline contrasted with the mountains behind it, all surrounded by water....the English influence making it easily accessible to the Western world....world class food(cheap to expensive) almost everywhere you go....lots of expats from all over the world....and its an hour ferry ride away from Macau, a former Porteguese colony with casinos that have a bigger gambling revenue than Vegas.

the only negative thing is that you're around so many millionaires and billionaires....you feel poor as fukk:wow:Hong Kong has Audemars Piguet stores at each of their main metro stations.

about the pollution.. if you're in South Korea, you're already breathing in China's pollution. :francis:
Trying to plan a trip to HK now, but I am noticing that all the hotels and BNB's in hong kong are expensive as fukk and not that nice.

all the places that are nice are in Shenzen and judging from the maps they are far from hong kong.. Where do you recommend staying and how much should I expect to spend

I even already canceled one airbnb because I realized after I booked that it was in shenzen.

Stay on the Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon area. It’s the cheaper area to stay in, across the bay from Hong Kong island. It’s a quick subway or cheap taxi ride away from central Hong Kong. Nicer, newer places in TST, cheaper but less nice hotels & airbnbs the further you get away from TST. I stayed near the flower
market in an old lady’s guesthouse. It was quite the experience :pachaha:

I used hotel points at the Conrad & JW Marriott in central Hong Kong for the rest of the trip.

Shenzhen is in mainland China, which you need a visa for. HK and macau, you’re good with your passport...but mainland requires extra paperwork.

It depends on how much you like gambling. It’s like Vegas...without the entertainment. Tables and tables and they’re all busy as fukk. Baccarat is extremely popular.

The food is interesting though...a mix of Cantonese, Southeast Asian, African, Latin American, and European. I wish I could have explored it more. The little I had was great.

Maybe 2 days max?

Sounds like a good day trip then.

I already scheduled the big Buddha tour
Now all I have to do is find a good “massage spot”
