Yeah insidious 2 has me leery on his sequel making ability
What are your thoughts on the contracted flicks, recently finished part 1 and now will watch phase 2.
Ive had contracted on my netflix que for what feels like 2 years i should watchit. What was your thoughts on it?
the 1st film had something but low budget, i wanted to like it more, but was let down.
the second part is wack IMO.
Avoid it man.

A 2015 film with a 97% RT
I had heard nothing but good things about this film. As usual the gawd canadian netflix came through and brought forth this piff. I loved this film. It is an instant horror classic. Has been added to my rewatch every halloween list. The music,the setting,the acting and directing all flowed together beautifully. Like every great horror film it was littered with well placed themes. Such a simple concept that Im mad I didnt think of it first. Watch immediately if you havent.

I had heard mixed things,some loved it,some hated it. I went in with low expectations because the concept seemed goofy to me.
I was,I guess pleasantly surprised. The film reminded me a lot of paranormal activity,especially the ending. At times the characters were pretty grating. Annoying teens gon be annoying teens. The concept was actually pulled off a lot better than I thought would be. Much to my surprise though the film pulled off the suspense very well and I was glued to the screen throughout the run time and it went by in a flash. I think if you go in with an open mind you might be surprised but dont expect anything amazing.

First,the concept of this film is so simple yet brilliant. A bunch of 20 somethings are in the woods high of mushrooms when things start going awry. Is it in their heads or is it real? Also for boardwalk empire fans it stars Jack Huston the gawd. The possibilities with this concept are endless. But the film itself just doesnt have the imagination to take advantage. Its mostly a low budget,low talent affair. it does have a couple of moments where it manages to show its potential but its mostly a miss. Its also got a love it or hate it twist ending.
