I saw it. It was OK. In the list of "Aliens but in the ocean" sub-genre of movies I'd probably say it's the best one we've gotten so far.
There was a glaring "Sacrificial Negro" scene that I found annoying but otherwise it was an enjoyable B-movie.

Haha nice. I’ll give it a watch since honestly this is higher praise than I expected. I haven’t really seen anyone else’s reaction to it, seems like most ppl are ignoring it. A lot of movies that come out around this time just get totally overlooked cause of the low attention at the movies Jan - April
